Though Trimaris lays claim to the majority of the peninsula known, mundanely, as Florida, there is an outlying tip of the panhandle under the rule of Meridies. Needless to say, this parcel of land creates a significant amount of conflict between two otherwise-peaceful Kingdoms. Each fall troops assemble in Northern Trimaris to settle, on the field and off, who should rightfully reign over the panhandle of Florida. Oldenfeld takes over the host responsibilities of the annual Skirmish beginning in 2007.
